I found these tiny balls in my bed and nearly had a heart att.ack: here’s what they were

One morning, shortly after waking up, I noticed several tiny round objects scattered across my bed sheet. At first, I had no idea what they were, but a closer look made me uneasy. They were pale, nearly perfectly round, and clustered together, making them look very much like insect eggs. Finding them where I had just been sleeping was an unsettling surprise.

Curious and concerned, I searched online and compared pictures to identify them. They appeared to be stink bug eggs. Stink bugs are well known for the strong odor they release when disturbed, and they sometimes enter homes while looking for a warm place to shelter, especially during cooler seasons. Although they are more commonly found near windows, walls, or curtains, they may occasionally lay eggs in sheltered indoor locations.

After identifying the eggs, I removed all of the bedding and washed it thoroughly. I also carefully checked the mattress, bed frame, and nearby furniture for any additional eggs or signs of insects. Prompt cleaning and inspection can help reduce the chance of eggs hatching and make it easier to deal with any pest problem before it grows.

While stink bugs are not known to bite people or spread diseases, finding what appears to be their eggs in a bed can still be alarming. If you notice similar eggs or continue seeing stink bugs inside your home, it is a good idea to inspect for possible entry points, seal any gaps around doors and windows, and contact a pest control professional if the problem continues.
