Gjat\u00eb k\u00ebsaj kohe (1836 \u2013 1837) studioi shkencat hekurudhore n\u00eb Angli dhe n\u00eb shtete t\u00eb tjera evropiane.<\/p>\n<p>Karl Gega lindi m\u00eb 10 janar t\u00eb vitit 1802 n\u00eb Venedik, vdiq m\u00eb 14 mars t\u00eb vitit 1860 n\u00eb Vjen\u00eb. Ishte inxhinier me origjin\u00eb shqiptare, nd\u00ebrtues i hekurudh\u00ebs s\u00eb Semmering-ut prej Gloggnitz deri n\u00eb M\u00fcrzzuschlag n\u00eb Austri.<\/p>\n<p>Ai studioi n\u00eb Padova (Itali), ku ai n\u00eb mosh\u00ebn 17 vje\u00e7are e mori titullin Doktor i shkencave matematikore dhe inxhinierike. Karrier\u00ebn si inxhinier e filloi me nd\u00ebrtime rrug\u00ebsh dhe uj\u00ebsjell\u00ebs n\u00eb Venedik.<\/p>\n<p>Nd\u00ebr t\u00eb tjera ndihmoi n\u00eb nd\u00ebrtimin e rrug\u00ebs \u201cStrada d\u2019alemagna\u201d, rrug\u00ebs nga Treviso p\u00ebr n\u00eb Cortina d\u2019Ampezzo. Prej vitit 1836 deri m\u00eb 1840 ishte udh\u00ebheq\u00ebs i nd\u00ebrtimit p\u00ebr pjes\u00ebn e rrug\u00ebs hekurudhore \u201cKaiser-Ferdinand-Nordbahn\u201d prej Ludenburg deri n\u00eb Br\u00fcnn (Brno).<\/p>\n<p>Gjat\u00eb k\u00ebsaj kohe (1836 \u2013 1837) studioi shkencat hekurudhore n\u00eb Angli dhe n\u00eb shtete t\u00eb tjera evropiane.N\u00eb vitin 1842 Gega u em\u00ebrua udh\u00ebheq\u00ebs planifikimi p\u00ebr t\u00eb gjith\u00eb Jugun e shtetit Austro-hungarez dhe p\u00ebr k\u00ebt\u00eb arsye nd\u00ebrmori nj\u00eb udh\u00ebtim studiues n\u00eb Amerik\u00eb.<\/p>\n<p>Njohurit\u00eb nga kjo ekspedit\u00eb Gega nuk i p\u00ebrdori vet\u00ebm p\u00ebr planifikimin e hekurudh\u00ebs s\u00eb Semmering-ut, por i publikoi edhe n\u00eb dy vepra. Gega publikoi shumic\u00ebn e shkrimeve t\u00eb tij jo vet\u00ebm n\u00eb gjuh\u00ebn gjermane por n\u00eb t\u00eb nj\u00ebjt\u00ebn koh\u00eb edhe n\u00eb italisht dhe fr\u00ebngjisht.<\/p>\n<p>Hekurudha filloi m\u00eb 1848 t\u00eb nd\u00ebrtohet. Para mbarimit t\u00eb saj m\u00eb 1854 ai e fitoi titullin \u201cRitter\u201d (Kalor\u00ebs) (1851). N\u00eb vitet 1853\/1854 Gega planifikoi t\u00ebr\u00eb rrjet\u00ebn e hekurudhave t\u00eb t\u00eb gjith\u00eb monarkis\u00eb Habsburgase.<\/p>\n<p>Gega vdiq m\u00eb 14 mars 1860 n\u00eb Vjen\u00eb nga pasojat e s\u00ebmundjes s\u00eb tuberkulozit.
